Dr. Ashwin Narasimhaprasad

Mr Ashwin Narasimhaprasad is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Dubai. He has over a decade of experience in orthopaedic surgery. Mr Narasimhaprasad completed his medical degree at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2007, followed by his Master of Surgery degree in Orthopaedics at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in 2011. In 2013, he was awarded in DNB and became a Specialist in Orthopaedics recognised by the Indian National Board.

After qualifying, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Knee Surgery at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea in 2014 where he got hands on experience and training in treating patients with Sports injuries.

Before joining Aster DM Healthcare in 2016, he practiced in India as a Senior Resident in Delhi as well as an Assistant Professor in Bangalore. He has expertise in treating patients with trauma , sports injuries, soft tissue disorders, joints and spine related disorders.

Mr Narasimhaprasad specialises in arthroscopy to treat shoulder, knee and hip injuries. He also has special interests in trauma surgery, arthroplasty, sports injuries and spinal surgery.
