Dr. Arathi Vijayan

Dr. Arathi Vijayan is a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist. Her main areas of expertise are: support for pre and post labour, mood disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety, personality disorders and children with developmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD and Down's Syndrome. Dr. Vijayan has a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating diseases of the brain, emotional disturbances and behavioural changes. She has experience with both young and adult clients, and is dedicated to providing the best care and support.

Dr. Vijayan completed a Master's in Clinical psychology from Christ University Bangalore where she researched "Experience of Motherhood: Mother's perception on factors influencing Mother-Infant Bonding". She has also obtained an M.Phil in Clinical psychology, where she researched "The Role of Supportive Psychotherapy in Reducing Stress Anxiety and Depression Among Pregnant Women: A systematic review" at SRM medical college and research centre.

She is certified as a Clinical Psychologist by the Rehabilitation Council of India and the Dubai Health Authority.

Dr. Vijayan speaks English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
