Dr. Anil Bansal

Dr. Anil Bansal is a world-class Interventional Cardiologist with over 35 years of international experience across the United States, India, and the UAE. As the Head of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, he brings an extraordinary level of expertise to the region, having performed over 20,000 coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Bansal is a veteran in the field, known for managing the most complex cardiovascular cases with a focus on limb salvage and advanced heart failure therapies.

His academic and professional pedigree is distinguished by elite North American and European training. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, he completed his specialized training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital (University of Michigan). He further refined his skills with a fellowship in Peripheral Vascular Interventions at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Before moving to the UAE, he served as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the East Carolina School of Medicine, University of North Carolina.

Dr. Bansal holds quintuple certifications from the American Board, including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology (recertified in 2015). He is also a certified specialist in pacing by the North American Society for Pacing and Electrophysiology. His research contributions include participation in Phase-3 FDA trials for stent grafts, underscoring his commitment to the cutting edge of medical science.
