Ms Aneesa Ally

Aneesa Ally is a skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist at Neuropedia Dubai with over 15 years of experience in the field. She holds a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and has specialised qualifications in dysphagia, focusing on swallowing difficulties. Throughout her career, Aneesa has worked in various settings, including rehabilitation units within hospitals, outpatient clinics, and schools across South Africa, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates.

Aneesa's expertise spans a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. She specialises in complex swallowing difficulties, articulation and phonological disorders, language delays and disorders, fluency disorders such as stuttering and cluttering, voice disorders, cognitive-communication disorders, and the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her therapeutic philosophy revolves around a client-centred approach, where the unique needs and aspirations of each individual guide the therapy process. Aneesa strongly believes in engaging parents, caregivers, and relevant professionals to form a collaborative network that enhances the effectiveness of therapy interventions. Aneesa is also skilled in dysphagia assessment, using Videofluoroscopy and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing to objectively evaluate swallowing difficulties and guide treatment. Additionally, she is certified in TalkTools Level 1, a specialised approach for managing oral motor difficulties to improve motor speech production in children with articulation challenges.
