Dr Amith Kumar Krishna

Dr Amith Kumar Krishna is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with over a decade of clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal and trauma-related conditions. He is currently based at Emirates Specialty Hospital, where he provides comprehensive orthopaedic care across trauma, reconstructive surgery and sports medicine.

He completed his MBBS and Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, establishing a strong academic and clinical foundation in orthopaedic practice.

Dr Krishna’s clinical expertise includes the management of fractures and complex trauma, joint replacement surgery, and arthroscopic procedures. His specialist interests cover total hip and knee arthroplasty, minimally invasive joint replacement techniques, and arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder and ankle. He also manages ligament injuries including ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscal tears, sports-related injuries, and degenerative joint conditions.

He has experience in the treatment of spine trauma and soft tissue injuries involving muscles, ligaments and nerves, as well as non-operative regenerative approaches such as PRP therapy.

Dr Krishna is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Indian Arthroscopy Society and the Indian Medical Association, reflecting his engagement with ongoing professional development and surgical advancement.

He is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu, and provides patient-centred care with an emphasis on clear communication, individualised treatment planning and functional recovery.
