Dr. Amer Saadeddin

Dr. Amer Saadeddin is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with a career spanning over 34 years. With a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, he dedicates his skills and energy to serving the best interests and well-being of his patients, who greatly appreciate his care.

Dr. Amer began his career at Rashid Hospital, a government hospital, where he worked from 1988 to 2001. During this time, he gained expertise in assessing and treating a wide range of psychiatric emergencies, providing inpatient care, and running outpatient clinics.

In 2001, Dr. Amer transitioned to working in a private clinic while also serving as a visiting consultant psychiatrist at various private hospitals, including the American Hospital and Neuro-Spinal Hospital. Notably, he played a key role in establishing an outpatient psychiatry service for the Dubai Police, which operated from 2002 to 2008.

With a passion for teaching and training, Dr. Amer has presented numerous lectures and workshops to General Medical Practitioners, focusing on psychiatric conditions and their management. He has also delivered psychoeducational talks to teachers, school counselors, students, and parents in schools, raising awareness about various psychiatric conditions, particularly anxiety disorders and ADHD.

Dr. Amer has received specialised training in psychopharmacology and prescribing psychotropic medications during his time in France from 1993 to 1994. Additionally, he has made over 27 appearances on national television and media platforms, where he discusses psychiatric topics and advocates for mental health awareness.

While Dr. Amer provides treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, his particular areas of interest include anxiety disorders, depression, and a special focus on ADHD.
