Ms Alyson Cunanan

Alyson is a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in supporting children and young people with speech, language, and communication needs.

She has extensive experience in both public and private healthcare settings across the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, working in schools, clinics, homes, and hospitals. Alyson has supported clients with a range of needs, including Down syndrome, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, language delays, speech sound disorders, and social communication difficulties.

Alyson is trained in the SCERTS model and Makaton, and delivers tailored, evidence-based interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders. Her therapy is holistic and child-led, with a focus on functional communication, daily participation, and supporting overall well-being. She is committed to providing client- and family-centred care and is a passionate advocate for children and their families.
