Dr Alia Issa

Dr Alia Issa is an Aesthetic Oculoplastic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, specialising in functional and aesthetic surgery of the eyelids and periocular region, as well as non-surgical periocular treatments. She has extensive international experience in Ophthalmology across Germany, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

Dr Issa completed her medical degree and PhD at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, and her specialist training in Ophthalmology in Berlin and Radebeul Germany. She subsequently undertook advanced fellowship training in Aesthetic Oculoplastics at the Ezra Clinic in London and an Honorary Fellowship in Oculoplastics at Moorfields Eye Hospital London.

Her practice focuses on achieving natural, balanced results while preserving individual facial characteristics, eyelid function and ocular health. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in research and medical education, including undergraduate teaching at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). She has presented her work at ESOPRS and at international Moorfields scientific meetings in Dubai and
Santiago, Chile.
