About Dr. Alexander Knigavko
Dr. Alexander Knigavko is a skilled Urologist and Andrologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Professor with over 20 years of academic and clinical experience. He is an internationally recognised expert in andrology and penile prosthetic surgery, and is considered one of the leading andrologists in Dubai and the wider Gulf region.
Dr. Knigavko previously served as Chief of the Andrology Fellowship Program in the Department of Urology, Nephrology and Andrology at Kharkiv National Medical University, and as Chief of the Urology and Andrology Course at the Department of Surgery and Anatomy, Medical Institute NTU “KhPI” in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where he trained numerous specialists over a decade.
He is one of the most experienced penile prosthesis surgeons in Ukraine, having performed more than 500 penile prosthesis surgeries and over 800 penile enlargement surgeries and phalloplasties. His surgical expertise extends to erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, chronic prostatitis, varicocele, male infertility, endocrine disorders, and testosterone-related men’s health concerns.
An accomplished academic, Dr. Knigavko has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, presented over 100 times at national and international conferences, and written the first Ukrainian handbook Clinical Andrology as well as the monograph Ejaculatory Disorders. He is the holder of 19 patents for innovative treatments in urology and andrology and has pioneered new surgical techniques for men’s health.
Dr. Knigavko is an active member of the European, Asian, and American Urological Associations (EAU, AAU, AUA), as well as the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine (ESSM, ISSM).
