Alejandra Trejo

Alejandra Trejo is a licensed Clinical Dietitian and Nutritionist with more than 10 years of experience in medical nutrition therapy, chronic disease management, and patient education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, completed in 2015 at the ISSSTE School of Dietetics and Nutrition. In addition, she is certified in Obesity Management, Diabetes Education, and Applied Genetics in Nutrition and Sports.

Alejandra has practised across both Mexico and the United Arab Emirates, working with diverse patient populations in a range of settings. Her clinical practice includes supporting individuals seeking to improve general health, longevity, and body composition, as well as patients managing chronic and complex conditions. These include obesity, diabetes, hormonal disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome and menopause, gastrointestinal conditions, and autoimmune diseases.

Her approach is centred on evidence-based, individualized nutrition care, incorporating functional nutrition strategies, structured meal planning, and appropriate supplementation. She also provides diabetes education and supports behaviour change through sustainable lifestyle interventions. Alejandra regularly collaborates with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

Her professional areas of focus include weight and metabolic health management, functional nutrition, diabetes care, hormonal and gastrointestinal health, and nutrition support for autoimmune conditions.
