She has a special interest in gastro-esophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernia (diagnosis and surgery) and has good outcomes for both conditions.
Dr. Rotundo graduated from a top university in Italy in 2002 before completing her specialist training at La Sapienza University - one of Rome's most prestigious medical schools. In 2007 she moved to Oxford, UK where she took up a post at the John Radcliffe Hospital's Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Unit. Here she gained valuable experience treating patients before undertaking a Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at University College London. Following this, she was recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Throughout her career, Dr Adriana has always been committed to providing high-quality care for her patients. After several years working as a Consultant Surgeon in the UK, she relocated to Dubai, where she performs numerous weight loss procedures including mini-gastric bypasses, sleeve gastrectomies and balloon insertions.
She is also experienced in performing revision weight loss surgery in patients whose first procedure did not produce sufficient results.
