Dr. Adib Jaber

Dr. Adib Jaber is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience, specialising in comprehensive ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery. He earned both his Medical Doctorate and his specialty in Ophthalmology from the American University of Beirut. Currently, he practices at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center in Dubai, where he holds a Dubai Health Authority license, providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Jaber's clinical expertise includes comprehensive eye examinations, as well as the evaluation and treatment of strabismus, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. He performs a variety of procedures, including refractive surgeries such as LASIK and PRK, strabismus surgery, cataract surgery, intravitreal injections for diabetic macular edema and macular degeneration, and minor eyelid surgeries.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jaber serves as a regional clinical advisor for the Middle East and North Africa for the Opening Eyes program under Special Olympics, where he collaborates with volunteers to deliver eye health screenings, education, and referrals to athletes with intellectual disabilities. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Dr. Jaber is dedicated to advancing the field through research, innovation, and ongoing humanitarian efforts.
