Dr Abeer Darwish

Dr Abeer Darwish is a Consultant Paediatrician at Wellness One Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi, where she brings nearly two decades of paediatric experience. Board certified by the Arab Board of Pediatrics since 2005, Dr Darwish has developed a strong reputation for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for children and families across a wide range of medical needs.

She has extensive experience treating both acute and chronic paediatric conditions, with special interests in respiratory diseases, allergy and asthma management, gastrointestinal concerns, urinary tract infections, and nutritional challenges such as failure to thrive or vitamin deficiencies. Dr Darwish is also highly experienced in neonatal care, developmental assessments, and administering children’s immunisation programmes.

Before joining Wellness One Day Surgery Center, Dr Darwish served for 15 years as Specialist Paediatrician and Head of Department at Mediclinic in Abu Dhabi. She previously worked at Al Salama Hospital and began her paediatric career at Central Hospital in Aleppo, Syria. Her work is guided by a patient-centred philosophy, focusing on early diagnosis, family education, and holistic management of childhood health.

Dr Darwish is a licensed paediatrician in both Abu Dhabi and Syria and is known for her kind and thoughtful approach to family care.
