Dr. Abeer Basunbul

Dr. Abeer Basunbul is a Consultant Paediatric Dentist, certified by the American Board of Paediatric Dentistry, at Mediclinic City Hospital. She completed her dental degree at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, in 2000, and further pursued advanced training in paediatric dentistry at Tufts University, USA, where she completed her Master’s degree in 2009.

Following her specialised training, Dr.Basunbul achieved certification in pediatric dentistry from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2010. She served as an Assistant Professor at Tufts Dental School in Boston and contributed her expertise to Boston University Dental School at Dubai Health Care City. Dr.Basunbul is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

With a wide range of expertise, Dr.Basunbul specialises in early treatment of malocclusion, repairing tooth cavities or defects, addressing facial/gum swelling, performing pulpotomy procedures, and providing comprehensive dental treatment for infants, children, and adolescents, including treatments under general anaesthesia or nitrous oxide sedation.
