Thalassemia Center

Thalassemia Center is a non-profit chronic care center based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The centre specialises in the haemoglobin disorders and thalassemia. The clinic was established in 1995 and offer day care unit, outpatient clinics, social and outreach services. The clinic has many disease-oriented projects including bone marrow transplantation, iron overload and cardiac MRI.

The centre has 167 medical students and junior doctors training and 2 active clinical trials to aim to provide the best treatments for patients. The centre has also received awards including best physician award from prestigious Sh. Sultan international Thalassemia Award and Best poster award in 2nd UAE's International Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance (ICAMR) 2019.
