Dubai Hospital

Dubai Hospital was first built in 1977 following a great surge in the population of Dubai. In 1983, there was an increase in patient admissions which led to the hospital having to develop its medical services. It currently holds a number of specialised centres including cardiology, oncology and nephrology. Altogether there are roughly 26 surgical and medical departments. The hospital receives up to 250,000 patients per year and the medical consultants have performed more than 10,000 operations each year.
