I'm so grateful to have met Dr Rachel Kaminski who diagnosed me immediately during our first consultation. I'd been suffering for six months and had gone to see another doctor previously twice who sent me away with cough syrup. It was a frightening time being undiagnosed, wondering if I was dying and why no one believed that something was wrong more than a cough. Dr Rachel has been enormously supportive - trying me out on inhalers until I found the one that I am comfortable with. What's more Dr Rachel professionally elicited information out of me that I didn't realise was relevant - the heartburn was linked to the condition and she kindly prescribed medicine for that too.
