Dr Winnie Cheng

Dr Winnie Cheng is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a compassionate and reassuring approach, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout all stages of life. As a General Practitioner, Dr Cheng delivers a broad range of primary healthcare services, focusing on preventative medicine, early intervention, and personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Within her general practice, Dr Cheng has developed key clinical interests in Paediatrics and all aspects of Women's Health. She is highly proficient in performing minor surgical procedures, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants. Additionally, she is an accredited antenatal shared care affiliate, collaborating closely with major maternity hospitals to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys. Her clinical capabilities also extend to skin health, supported by a certificate in dermatoscopy, which enables her to perform detailed skin assessments.

Dr Cheng completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1997. Demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence, she obtained a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
