Dr William John Shepperd

Dr William John Shepperd is a dedicated General Practitioner who specialises in skin cancer medicine and primary care. He is highly committed to the early detection, diagnosis, and effective treatment of melanoma and other skin cancers. By prioritising evidence-based care, Dr Shepperd ensures that his patients receive comprehensive and reassuring support throughout their medical journeys.

Dr Shepperd completed his primary medical degree, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine. He subsequently undertook his primary surgical training in England, where he gained extensive experience working within a plastic surgery unit. He qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons London in 2006 and went on to qualify as a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds active membership with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Additionally, he has served as an Education Committee Member for a national melanoma organisation since 2025.

With advanced training in dermoscopy and the surgical management of skin cancer, Dr Shepperd offers a wide range of specialised procedures. His clinical interests encompass thorough skin cancer checks, precise skin lesion biopsies, and mole removal.
