Dr Whay Chiat Wee

Dr Whay Chiat Wee, also known as Dr Jake Wee, is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in supporting individuals and families through every stage of their health journey, focusing on long-term wellbeing and preventive medicine. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Wee works closely with his patients to develop tailored management plans that address their unique healthcare needs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Wee has developed a diverse range of interests, with a particular focus on chronic disease management, including geriatric medicine and endocrinology issues such as diabetes. He is highly experienced in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, and managing worker's compensation cases. Additionally, Dr Wee performs various minor surgical procedures, including skin health checks, wound care, suturing, iron infusions, and the treatment of ingrown toenails, ensuring his patients receive high-quality, hands-on care.

Dr Wee obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland. Following his graduation, he completed his comprehensive medical training across various hospitals in Western Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice and continuing professional development.
