Dr Wei Ma

Dr Wei Ma is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, offering support to patients of all ages and backgrounds. With a clinical approach focused on empathy and thoroughness, Dr Ma is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal health outcomes through preventative care and personalised treatment plans.

Throughout her career, Dr Ma has developed a strong focus on several key areas of medicine. She has undertaken advanced training in skin cancer medicine, allowing her to perform thorough skin checks and manage various dermatological concerns. Her clinical interests also encompass women's health, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, as well as chronic disease management, mental health, and geriatric medicine. Additionally, she is highly skilled in performing minor surgical procedures, such as skin lesion removals and ingrowing toenail wedge resections.

Dr Ma completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine (BMed) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Prior to transitioning into general practice, she gained valuable clinical experience working within the public hospital system. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice care.
