After completing his medical degree with Honors at the University of Sydney. Dr Mohsen underwent Advanced Gastroenterology Training at tertiary referral centres including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital  and Liverpool Hospital in Sydney.

His training equipped him to handle various Gastroenterological conditions including complex Inflammatory Bowel disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Reflux and Chronic Liver disease. Dr Mohsen has training and expertise in quality Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy.

Dr. Mohsen further honed his expertise during a Research and Clinical Fellowship  in Oxford, UK. During that fellowship he focused on complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease  and colonoscopy. His commitment to advancing the field is evident through his participation in peer reviewed research, teaching and presentations.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mohsen is dedicated to teaching and mentoring junior doctors and trainees at Gold Coast University Hospital. He is also actively involved in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical research and clinical trials. Ths includes membership in the Australia and New Zealand IBD consortium.

Dr Mohsen  enjoys spending quality time with his family, travelling, surfing and running.
