Dr Vladimir Sazhin

Dr Vladimir Sazhin is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care for adult patients. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centred treatment to individuals facing complex psychological challenges. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Sazhin works collaboratively with his patients to support their mental health journeys and improve their overall well-being.

In his clinical practice, Dr Sazhin focuses on the assessment and management of a wide range of psychiatric conditions. He has particular expertise in treating mood disorders, including treatment-resistant depression and bipolar affective disorder, as well as severe anxiety disorders and personality disorders. Additionally, his clinical interests extend to addiction psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. He is also skilled in utilising advanced therapeutic interventions, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), and conducting detailed medico-legal assessments.

Dr Sazhin holds a Master of Medical Science (MMedSci) and a Master of Medical Statistics (MMedStat). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), having completed advanced training in forensic psychiatry. Alongside his clinical work, he contributes to the education of future medical professionals as an Honorary Lecturer. Dr Sazhin is bilingual and is able to consult with patients in both English and Russian.
