Dr Alhamed completed his medical degree (MBChB) at the Medical College of Basra, Iraq, graduating in 2001. He went on to pursue extensive postgraduate training, obtaining a Fellowship of the Arab Board of Surgical Specialisation (FABS) and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (MRCS). After relocating to Australia, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. As a procedural General Practitioner, Dr Alhamed has a diverse range of clinical interests.
