Tumelo Dube

Tumelo Dube is a titled Pain Physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience and a strong academic and leadership background in pain management. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2011, followed by a Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) from the University of Sydney in 2016.

Tumelo has worked in leading healthcare settings, including the Royal North Shore Hospital and the Michael J. Cousins Pain Management and Research Centre. His professional interests include the role of perceived injustice in pain outcomes and the effects of exercise-induced analgesia, with contributions to several research studies in these areas.

He has held key leadership positions, such as Chair of the NSW Pain Group for the Australian Physiotherapy Association and executive member at the Agency for Clinical Innovation under NSW Health, where he contributed to shaping allied health policy and pain care strategies. Now based in Melbourne, Tumelo continues to be active in education as a tutor and webinar facilitator at the University of Sydney.

With a focus on evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches, Tumelo supports patients in improving function and quality of life while living with persistent pain.
