Dr Tristan Daniel Johnson

Dr Tristan Daniel Johnson is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on skin health. He is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare, ensuring that individuals receive thorough and reassuring medical attention. Alongside general practice, Dr Johnson has developed a particular clinical interest in skin cancer medicine, offering expert skin checks, diagnosis, and surgical management.

Dr Johnson completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2009. Committed to advancing his clinical skills, he obtained an Advanced Certificate in Dermatoscopy and went on to earn a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer Medicine with a Dean's commendation from the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is recognised as an accredited practitioner with the Skin Cancer College of Australia.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Johnson is actively involved in medical education and leadership. He serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and acts as a nominated lead Clinical Expert reviewing and supporting skin cancer surgical provisions. He is also dedicated to training the next generation of medical professionals, regularly teaching surgical skills to General Practice Registrars. His extensive background includes working within private plastic surgery clinics and hospital surgical settings, allowing him to maintain an exceptionally high standard of surgical competency for complex skin cancer procedures.
