Dr Stewart began his medical journey at the University of Sydney Medical School, graduating in 2007. Following his internship and residency, he pursued further surgical training in Otolaryngology while simultaneously completing a Masters of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney. In 2014, he was accepted into the NSW specialist training scheme for Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery under the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, culminating in the award of his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019. To further refine his expertise, Dr Stewart completed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations, obtained a New York State Medical Licence, and undertook a prestigious subspecialty fellowship in Laryngology in New York in 2020, focusing on Neurolaryngology and office-based procedures.

In his clinical practice, Dr Stewart has a particular interest in laryngology, which encompasses voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He is highly skilled in managing complex laryngeal and upper airway conditions, providing specialised care for the professional voice, and performing advanced phonosurgery. Additionally, his expertise extends to general adult and paediatric ENT surgery, snoring and sleep apnoea management, and nose and sinus disorders.
