Dr Theo Theodoros

Dr Theo Theodoros is a highly dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care. In his clinical practice, Dr Theodoros focuses on a wide range of mental health conditions, with particular expertise in youth psychiatry and adult psychiatry. His areas of clinical interest include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, and personality disorders. He is also highly skilled in managing complex conditions such as psychosis and schizophrenia. Dr Theodoros utilises a variety of therapeutic modalities, including supportive psychotherapy, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), in which he has completed specialised training. His dual qualification as a registered Pharmacist allows him to offer expert guidance in psychopharmacology, advocating strongly for the safe and quality use of medicines, including careful prescribing and deprescribing.

Dr Theodoros completed his pharmacy and medical degrees at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2012, before undertaking his specialist psychiatry training in Queensland. He successfully obtained an advanced training certificate in Adult Psychiatry and has completed further training in youth psychiatry. Dr Theodoros is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and is an active member of the college's youth section.
