Dr Tharesh Iddagoda

Dr Tharesh Iddagoda is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a broad clinical background spanning emergency medicine, geriatric care, rehabilitation, and palliative care, he delivers holistic medical support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Iddagoda prioritises building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Iddagoda completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2003. After relocating to Australia, he undertook extensive postgraduate training in various hospital departments before entering the Australian General Practice Training pathway. He successfully completed his specialist training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Throughout his career, Dr Iddagoda has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about sexual health, reproductive health, and family planning. Additionally, he has a strong focus on dermatology and skin cancer management, alongside chronic disease management and preventative medicine. His well-rounded expertise allows him to address complex health concerns with confidence, offering high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
