Dr Tegan Stein

Dr Tegan Stein is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, she enjoys all aspects of general medicine, supporting patients of all ages through every stage of life. Dr Stein is known for her reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that individuals and families receive thorough, personalised medical attention tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Stein completed her Bachelor of Science and her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland. Following her university studies, she gained extensive clinical experience during her residency, working predominantly across major tertiary and paediatric hospitals. Throughout her training, she gained valuable exposure to a diverse range of medical fields, including Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Dermatology, and General Surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health to further support her clinical practice.

With a strong interest in preventative health and family medicine, Dr Stein has developed particular expertise in paediatric care, adolescent health, and women's health. She is highly experienced in chronic disease management and is actively involved in antenatal care, being aligned with a prominent maternity shared care programme.
