Dr Teck Tang

Dr Teck Tang is a dedicated Specialist General Surgeon who is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical care to his patients. Dr Tang completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 1990. He undertook his initial surgical training in Brisbane before relocating to Perth to complete his advanced surgical training. In 1999, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, reflecting his high standard of clinical expertise. He remains actively involved in professional development to ensure his practice aligns with the latest advancements in surgical care.

Throughout his career, Dr Tang has gained extensive experience working in various public and private clinical settings. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general surgical procedures, with particular interests in skin cancer surgery, hernia repairs, and gallbladder procedures. He is highly skilled in managing both routine elective cases and acute surgical emergencies, utilising modern techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes and support a smooth recovery process.
