Dr Sumati Pestana is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout her career, Dr Pestana has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal medicine, including prolotherapy, joint injections, and trigger point injections. She is also deeply passionate about women's and children's health, offering expert guidance in antenatal care, immunisations, and the optimisation of breastfeeding for mothers and babies. Her broad expertise further encompasses sexual health, mental health, Aboriginal health, and minor surgical procedures, such as Implanon insertion and removal.

Dr Pestana completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of general practice, she also obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
