Dr Su Thet Mon

Dr Su Thet Mon is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on promoting long-term health and well-being, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Mon believes in a holistic approach to medicine, combining clinical excellence with empathy to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported in their healthcare journey.

Dr Mon obtained her primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Medicine 1 in Myanmar. Following her initial medical education, she relocated to Australia, where she undertook extensive postgraduate training across several states. Her clinical pathway included working within major tertiary hospitals in Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory, gaining valuable experience in diverse medical disciplines. She successfully completed her specialist training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Throughout her career, Dr Mon has developed a broad range of clinical interests. She is highly skilled in chronic disease management, preventative health, and family medicine. She has a strong focus on women's health, offering services such as shared antenatal care, cervical screening, contraceptive advice, and contraceptive implant insertions. Additionally, she is passionate about children's health and paediatrics. Having completed dedicated training under the direct supervision of Dermatologists, Dr Mon also possesses a keen interest in dermatology and skin cancer checks, allowing her to provide thorough skin assessments for her patients.
