Dr Stuart Wild

Dr Stuart Wild is a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who has focused his career on providing comprehensive mental health care for adult patients. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, he specialises in general adult psychiatry, focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of psychological conditions. His clinical practice is characterised by a commitment to helping individuals understand their mental health challenges and finding effective pathways to improve their overall well-being.

Throughout his clinical career, Dr Wild has developed particular interests in mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults. He utilises a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to the unique needs of each patient. These therapeutic approaches include psychopharmacology and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ensuring a holistic and balanced treatment plan that addresses both biological and psychological aspects of mental health.

Dr Wild completed his medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Medical Science in 1987. To further specialise in the field of mental health, he undertook extensive postgraduate training and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1997.
