Dr Stephen Clapham

Dr Stephen Clapham is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on delivering high-quality medical services in a relaxed and reassuring environment, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families. Dr Clapham enjoys working across all areas of general practice, offering a holistic approach to patient care.

Dr Clapham completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. Following the completion of his hospital and general practice training in Sydney, he relocated to Queensland to continue his medical career. He holds a Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Throughout his career, Dr Clapham has also contributed to the training of future medical professionals, serving as a Supervisor for medical students and General Practice registrars, as well as working as an Examiner for the FRACGP examinations.

His clinical interests span family medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare. Dr Clapham provides a wide range of services, including men's, women's, and children's health checks, travel vaccinations, skin cancer assessments, and mental health care plans. He is also skilled in performing specific clinical procedures, such as cervical screenings and Implanon insertions and removals, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive and personalised care.
