Dr Simran Cheema

Dr Simran Cheema is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a clinical approach focused on empathy and thoroughness, she strives to support patients of all ages and backgrounds through every stage of their health journey. Dr Cheema believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported while receiving comprehensive medical care.

Throughout her career, Dr Cheema has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on Women's Health, Children's Health, and Chronic Disease Management. Her broad expertise allows her to deliver a wide array of essential services, including preventative health assessments, immunisations, contraception advice, and mental health support. She is also experienced in performing specific clinical procedures such as iron infusions, ear wax removal, and skin check consultations, ensuring her patients have access to well-rounded primary care.

Dr Cheema completed her medical education at James Cook University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2013. Her early medical training provided her with valuable experience working alongside rural communities in Northern Queensland, as well as clinical placements in regional hospital and community settings. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.
