Dr Simran Bassi

Dr Simran Bassi is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. Dr Bassi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dibrugarh University in India in 1993. Following her initial medical training, she gained extensive international experience working in general medicine and neurology in South Africa, before relocating to Australia. In Australia, she further broadened her clinical expertise by working in general medicine and emergency medicine within the public hospital system. She successfully attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010, reflecting her high standards of clinical competence and dedication to the field of primary care.

Throughout her career, Dr Bassi has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is highly skilled in chronic disease management, general medicine, and preventative healthcare. Her practice encompasses women's health, paediatric care, and mental health support. Additionally, she is experienced in performing minor surgical procedures, including the removal of skin lesions and laceration repairs, as well as conducting thorough skin checks and assisting patients with weight management.
