Dr Shoma Dutt

Dr. Shoma Dutt is a highly experienced Paediatric Gastroenterologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions in children, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), allergic gut disease, coeliac disease, and gastrointestinal complications of cystic fibrosis.

Dr. Dutt is deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care to her young patients and their families. She is actively involved in developing clinical pathways and treatment protocols for children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, including the initiation and escalation of biological therapies.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Dutt is passionate about medical education and academic development. She serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, contributing to both the Medical Programme and the Masters in Medicine (Paediatrics) Programme, where she has played a key role in teaching and assessment.
