Dr Sara Whitburn

Dr Sara Whitburn is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Whitburn is particularly recognised for her commitment to sexual and reproductive health, ensuring that her patients receive evidence-based, empathetic guidance in a safe and welcoming environment.

Throughout her career, Dr Whitburn has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of clinical areas. Her primary interests include women's health, contraception, and menopause management, alongside genital health and sexually transmitted infections. She is highly skilled in providing long-acting reversible contraception, including IUD and Implanon procedures, and offers shared antenatal care and breastfeeding medicine. Additionally, her practice encompasses children and adolescent health, men's health, chronic disease management, and gender-affirming hormone health, reflecting her holistic approach to family medicine.

Dr Whitburn completed her medical degree at Flinders University of South Australia, graduating in 2002.
