Dr Sanil Nair

Dr Sanil Nair is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply passionate about preventative healthcare and empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health and well-being. He adopts a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on identifying the underlying causes of illness rather than merely treating symptoms. With a diverse clinical background spanning multiple countries and healthcare systems, Dr Nair brings a wealth of experience and a reassuring presence to his primary care practice.

Before transitioning into General Practice, Dr Nair built a robust foundation in acute care. He commenced his medical career in India, working as an Anaesthetist, before relocating to the United Kingdom. Upon moving to Australia, he continued to expand his clinical expertise by working in Intensive Care units across Melbourne and regional Australia. He has also served diverse communities in rural South Australia and regional Victoria, which has deepened his understanding of community-based healthcare and enhanced his ability to care for patients from all walks of life.

Dr Nair completed his medical studies in Dubai and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of primary care. To further expand his clinical capabilities, he has also completed an International Certificate of Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine.
