Dr Sandy Jusuf

Dr Sandy Jusuf is a highly qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who provides compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. She works across both the public and private sectors, dedicating her practice to supporting individuals and families navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. Dr Jusuf adopts a strengths-based, holistic, and collaborative approach, working closely with the entire family unit to foster resilience and promote long-term well-being.

With a diverse range of clinical interests, Dr Jusuf specialises in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions. Her expertise encompasses autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder. She also has a particular interest in supporting young children, addressing transcultural and intergenerational mental health issues, and treating complex trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and functional neurological disorders. Her therapeutic interventions include family therapy, supportive psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Dr Jusuf completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (Advanced). Committed to continuous professional development, she also obtained a Diploma of Emergency Medicine and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Dr Jusuf is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and holds an Advanced Training Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, reflecting her high standard of clinical expertise and dedication to her field.
