Throughout her medical career, Dr Eugenia Cua has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She has a particular focus on rural general practice, emergency medicine, and palliative care. Her dedication to palliative medicine is reflected in her active involvement in clinical education and research, where she has focused on improving end-of-life care and managing complex symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. Her broad clinical exposure allows her to confidently manage acute presentations, chronic health conditions, and preventative healthcare for patients of all ages.

Dr Eugenia Cua completed her medical degree at Monash University, undertaking her training through the extended rural cohort programme. This specialised pathway allowed her to gain invaluable clinical experience across regional Victoria, fostering her passion for rural medicine. During her studies, she was awarded a summer research scholarship to investigate primary healthcare services and emergency department presentations. As a General Practice Registrar, she continues to advance her professional expertise and is an active registrar with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
