Dr Courtney completed her medical training at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1979. To further her clinical skills, she obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Committed to maintaining the highest standards in her field, she also holds a Graduate Certificate in Travel Medicine and a Certificate in Travel Health.
