Dr Rowan Flanagan

Dr Rowan Flanagan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. In his clinical practice, Dr Flanagan has developed a strong focus on skin cancer medicine, sports medicine, men's health, and paediatrics. He is highly skilled in both surgical and non-surgical methods of skin cancer management, including cryotherapy, topical therapies, and excisions. His expertise also extends to cosmetic medicine and cosmetic mole removal. Combining his medical training with a background in exercise science, he offers a unique perspective on physical health, helping patients of all ages maintain active lifestyles.

Dr Flanagan completed his medical training at the University of Notre Dame Australia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2016. Prior to his medical studies, he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Queensland. He achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Flanagan holds a Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy, an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine, an Australasian College for Emergency Medicine Certificate in Emergency Medicine, and has completed the Sydney Child Health Programme.
