Mr Ross Robert Leonard

Mr Ross Robert Leonard is a highly qualified Psychologist and Forensic Psychologist who provides comprehensive mental health care to adults, teenagers, and couples. With a clinical approach that is both compassionate and evidence-based, he specialises in addressing a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate complex emotional and behavioural challenges, fostering a supportive environment where clients can work towards positive change and improved well-being.

In his practice, Mr Robert Leonard utilises a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client. These include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. He has a particular interest in relationship counselling and couples therapy, having completed advanced training in the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT). Additionally, his expertise extends to managing workplace issues, conflict resolution, anger management, and supporting individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Mr Robert Leonard completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy, followed by an Honours Degree in Psychology. He went on to obtain a Master of Science in Forensic and Investigative Psychology from the University of Liverpool in 1998. Committed to maintaining the highest professional standards, he is a Full Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi) and is affiliated with the College of Forensic Psychologists.
