Dr Riley Smith

Dr Riley Smith is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and approachable manner, he focuses on creating a comfortable environment for his patients, ensuring they feel fully informed and confident throughout their healthcare journey. His practice encompasses a broad range of general medicine, with a strong emphasis on preventative health, men's health, and paediatrics.

In addition to general medicine, Dr Smith has a significant clinical interest in procedural medicine and skin cancer care. He has completed advanced training in dermoscopy, aesthetic medicine, and skin cancer medicine, allowing him to offer meticulous skin checks and early detection of melanomas and other skin malignancies. His expertise spans both non-surgical treatments, such as cryotherapy and topical therapies, and complex surgical interventions, including primary excisions, flap reconstructions, and full-thickness skin grafts. This surgical foundation was built during his early medical career, during which he completed various surgical rotations in orthopaedics, urology, and plastic surgery at a major tertiary hospital.

Dr Smith completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Biomedical Science at La Trobe University before earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame in 2014. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021. He holds professional certificates in skin cancer medicine and aesthetic medicine, and is an active member of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
