Dr Richard Harvey, one of the best sinus doctors in Sydney, works at Macquarie University and St Vincent's Hospitals. He is also the rhinology & skull base surgery program head at UNSW's Applied Medical Research Center and a professor at both the University of NSW and Macquarie University. Dr Harvey specialises in nose, sinus, allergies, endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and is the only dual-fellowship trained rhinologist in Australia who specialises solely in nose and sinus conditions. He is a leader in his field and has achieved the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Medal for his contribution and services in this area.

Dr Harvey graduated with his MBBS in 1998 from the University of New South Wales before pursuing several years of post-training fellowships, including fellowships in the United States and the United Kingdom.n d he holds a PhD in trans-nasal skull base surgery. He has over 250 papers, books, and book chapters to his name and has given around 500 lectures and seminars on the management of sino-nasal diseases. He is now the Editor-in-Chief of the Australian Supplement of the Journal of Laryngology and Otology and an associate editor for the Cochrane ENT disorders group. He also sits on the editorial boards of Rhinology Journal, the American Journal of Rhinology & Allergy, and the International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology.

Dr Harvey is an important contributor to the field and is actively involved in research programs in Sydney. He also holds a series of training courses in Sydney each year to further rhinologic education in Australia.
