Dr Richard Bennett

Dr Richard Bennett is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Originally from Norwich in the east of England, he relocated to Australia with his family in 2014. Dr Bennett is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare across all stages of life, combining a reassuring clinical approach with a broad range of medical expertise to support his patients' long-term well-being.

Dr Bennett completed his medical training at Imperial College London, qualifying in 2003. He went on to gain membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009. To further enhance his clinical capabilities, he has undertaken additional specialised training in skin cancer medicine and is actively involved in medical education, teaching medical students in affiliation with Monash University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

With a diverse clinical focus, Dr Bennett manages a wide array of health conditions. His areas of interest encompass chronic disease management, family medicine, mental health, and preventative care. He is particularly skilled in addressing problems affecting the ears, nose, and throat, and performs various minor procedures, including joint injections, injections for carpal tunnel syndrome, and ingrowing toenail excisions. Additionally, he offers comprehensive skin cancer checks and provides tailored support in weight-loss medicine, palliative care, and sexual health.
