Dr Rhian Rees

Dr Rhian Rees, who also practises under the name Dr Rhian Pickard, is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a professional approach that is both reassuring and thorough, she is committed to supporting patients of all ages through every stage of their health journey. Dr Rees focuses on delivering holistic healthcare, ensuring that each individual receives personalised attention tailored to their unique medical needs.

Throughout her career, Dr Rees has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and family health. She is highly skilled in women's health, reproductive and sexual health, and pregnancy care, including family planning and medical termination services. Additionally, she has a strong interest in children's health and adolescent medicine. Dr Rees is also deeply passionate about skin cancer detection and treatment, having undertaken extensive training in dermoscopy and skin surgery to provide expert skin checks and minor surgical procedures as a skilled Skin Cancer Doctor.

Dr Rees obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, qualifying in 2003. Following her graduation, she initially undertook surgical training, with a focus on burns and plastic surgery, before transitioning to General Practice. She holds several prestigious professional memberships, including Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in England, and membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. To further her expertise in skin health, she has also completed a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy, an Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy, and certificates in both skin cancer medicine and surgery.
