Dr Reza Modarres is a highly qualified General Practitioner and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong clinical focus on musculoskeletal medicine and pain management, he is dedicated to helping patients find sustainable relief from acute and chronic pain conditions. Dr Modarres combines his broad expertise in general practice with advanced interventional strategies to address complex joint, muscle, and tendon issues, ensuring each patient receives a tailored and holistic treatment plan.

Before focusing extensively on pain medicine, Dr Modarres gained valuable experience working as an Orthopaedic Registrar and Surgical Assistant. This background provided him with a deep understanding of surgical anatomy, biomechanics, degenerative joint disease, and post-operative pain syndromes. His clinical approach is highly collaborative, and he works closely with other medical specialists and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care aimed at functional restoration and long-term rehabilitation.

Dr Modarres completed his medical degree, obtaining his Doctor of Medicine from the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. He subsequently relocated to Australia, where he achieved Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. Committed to continuous professional development, he also completed advanced training in pain medicine to become a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
